I'm running my whole business from my PC.
And it feels like I'm living in the Jetsons.
I'm not a tech person. Never have been.
But right now my business runs better than it ever has.. and the tools doing the heavy lifting cost less per month than a tank of petrol.
Here's what's actually changed.
Notion keeps everything in one place. Every project, every client, every invoice, every dollar. Most people are still juggling five different systems and a folder called "FINAL FINAL v3." I was too. Not anymore.
Wispr Flow means I just.. talk. Out loud. And it writes. Voice to text that actually works. I use it for emails, site notes, client follow-ups. If you spend half your day typing, this one will break your brain a little.
Claude handles the thinking I don't want to do. Drafting briefs, working through design problems, writing emails I'm avoiding.. it takes the friction out of the stuff that used to slow me down.
Three tools. That's it.
No complicated software stack. No IT guy. No expensive platform that takes six months to set up and nobody actually uses.
Just a lean business that moves fast.
If you're still running everything through your inbox and a shared drive.. it might be time to have a look at how the tools have changed. The gap between a slow business and a fast one isn't talent anymore.
It's systems.
