When I started Fortyone Architecture, I wasn’t chasing prestige.

When I started Fortyone Architecture, I wasn’t chasing prestige.

I was chasing presence.

Presence with my kids.
Presence in the mahi I cared about.
Presence in my own damn life to be honest team.

Fortyone was named after the 41 steps from my back door to the back yard office.
Not a branding brainstorm. Just a reminder.
Of why I started.
Of who I did it for.

Remote team.
Solid systems.
Because I was intentional.

We still delivered great work.
We still grew.
But the win wasn’t scale.. it was design.
I designed a business to fit my life, not the other way round.

And that’s something I’m still proud of.
