Started as an in-person tournament for my birthday.
One night. A few mates. Plenty of beers.
Then I wanted to keep doing it.. without taking over the lounge every weekend.
So we moved it online.
One season turned into two. Two turned into three. We're 18 active players now and others keep asking to join.
As a passion project I've built churdarts.co.nz to keep up with it all.
Players send through their match screenshots. AI does the rest.. ladder, badges, records, live ticker.
Half of it I didn't know how to build when I started.
The logo is shit on purpose.
Someone like me would normally spend two weeks agonising over a logo this size.
I didn't bother. No one remembers the logo.. they remember the experience.
Have I built it right? Probably not.
What's it going to cost me to keep running once it scales? No idea.
Something will break. Probably soon. Probably something I didn't see coming.
A few names in the scene have started taking notice anyway.
Un real.
Just a thing I made because I wanted to.
